Thanks for pointing this out. It makes a lot of sense to do things based on UT1 in that GHA is the fastest varying quantity in the tables and things, such as positions of the Sun, Moon and Planets, which can only be calculated in advance using a uniform time scale don't change fast enough for 1 second to make a difference. Strictly speaking lunar distances give you UTC,
