Hi all; in the theory that the best way to learn something is to teach
it, I have written up a web page that solves one of the Silicon Sea
problems step-by-step, with diagrams and everything.
I chose leg 57 as my example, mainly because I hadn't done that one
yet. You can view it at
http://www.best.com/~falconer/Navigation/
It's not polished yet, but I was wondering if folks could go take a
look and let me know if I made any serious mistakes. I'm particularly
interested in dead reckoning, where the information presented is a
little sketchy, and in my calculations for the LOP of the Moon, which
were off by 17 miles.
If I can polish this up, and if people think it's worthwhile, I can
donate it to the navigation home page.
