Two weeks ago, I wrote:
"Let's shoot a vertical lunar. Around 03:37 UT in the middle of nautical twilight on 22 aug 2022"
So did anyone drive / fly over to Liechtenstein to capture this lunar this morning? Ha. Just taking note of the fact that the calendar has caught up with my scenario...
By the way, Herman Dekker, you asked about the weather data to use. I simply looked up pre-dawn weather conditions for lowland Liechtenstein, specifically Vaduz, in various weather sites online. Nothing complicated. But don't forget to throw in the additional adjustment for altitude above sea level. It's about half a kilometer up there. That's enough to reduce the refraction by a couple of tenths of a minute of arc.
