I suspect most do so anyway", I can't either, but what do I know, especially since my efforts at "celestial navigation" amount to shooting the sun a couple of times a day, 4 hours or so apart, when I get to the beach, or using an artificial horizon standing in the parking area of our apartment complex, sometimes sun and moon, also from the beach, not having a boat, and tending toward mal de mer anyhow. Once upon a time, I was able to shoot the moon, Jupiter and Venus one evening at the beach. Resolving the 3 shots ended with a triangle almost to small to draw. Talk about being happy as a pig in you know what. In any case,imagining any sort of course in/study of CN, absent at least a little time with a sextant is difficult.
