As a complement to the first reference here-above, would you mind performing the very same computations for Deneb and Capella from the very same successive positions as in the second referenced post:
- either between 17:00 and 18:00 UT1 on this same day, i.e. at 17:00, 17:10, 17:20, 17:40, 17:50 and 18:00 UT1
- or between 02:00 and 03:00 UT1 on this same day too, i.e. at 02:00, 02:10, 02:20, 02:40, 02:50 and 03:00 UT1
and let us know about the performance of your second order regression through doing exactly the same computations as listed in the second reference here-above.
Alternately, perform the very same computations for the same times as here-above, but decrease all successive Latitudes by 10°, i.e. compute for 50°00' N, 50°02'N, ... 50°12' N and let us know about the performance of your second order regression.
