Re: Linear regression and other tools

    Hello!

Please correct me if I'm thinking in the wrong direction.

My understanding of a precision CN is to:

    • minimise errors of individual sight
    • compensate for the movement of body(es) and of an observer

If I take a "1st-2nd-3rd-1st-2nd-3rd-...1st-2nd-3rd" five-round series of sights and regress each body to some HCi(t) function (linear, quad or sine), I can then choose some value for variable t and calculate three perfectly simultaneous HCs as if three of me took them in almost-ideal conditions. Which, I believe, will give me more accurate fix.

Is this all nonsence or not?

    Please comment.

    Regards,

    Tony
