I believe I have 3 A12's the peroscopic one(?). Not one cost more than $75 and AI also found an overhaul manual (i think on ebay saddly all are presently in deep storage along with my 5 vintage airplanes).
I shall see what I can find.
By way if explaination... My first Best Half told me , "Now that the kids are grown go buy us an Ercoupe and let's start flying again." Needless to say I complied without hesitation, unfortunately she passed before I flew it back from Tehachapi, CA back to LaPorte, TX. During that trip I realized she couldn't tell me to stop buying aircraft. So I'm thinking my next two (making them 6th & 7th) shall be an AirOne EVTOL (one for my 2nd Best Half and me.... and the second to rip out all the creature comforts to be filled to the gills w extended range batteries, an extention cord, and an A12 sextant mount with modified remote control sighting enhancements.
I've determined from owning & flying multiple aircraft that my engineering gut says one shall always have 1 or a prime number of aircraft :-).

I am trying to find the correct Bristol spline key to service the bubble chamber for the A-12 Bubble Sextant. There are lots available in the United States, not so in the UK - do you have any suggestions please?
Apparently the set of keys is Bristol SS-508.
As regards using a bubble sextant in a light aircraft, we have had good results (3 statute miles in daylight) with a Piper Cub. It's much easier if there are two of you.
