    Many of those lucky enough to spend half an hour so in their youth in one of Mr Link's instrument flying trainers will recognise several of the parts from the ubiquitous 'Link Trainer', especially the desk and 'bug', which were still to be found on many airforce statins and cadet units in the 1950s and early 60s.  I don't know if anyone ever managed to fly the 'bug' off the table. DaveP
