Thanks, Francis. My fear is that part of the scale is still adhered to the brass and I wouldn't want to damage it when removing for copying. However, I seem to recall there are scales available on web for download and printing. In order to make a perfect fit to tube, the scale change must be made in one direction only, right?  Sounds like a nice project, in any case. Thanks for the encouragement.
