GREAT - this is so much along my lines.
However, if it is correct my face will turn green of envy ; )or did you or Frank already?
Beware though: As Frank said, the cos() will be negative when
L- d or L+d is outside +/- 90 deg.
Now my plug of old:
The only thing left is turning all deg to arcmin in our tables and forgetting the awkward sexagesimal calculations. Everything will be integers, decimal and of 4 digits only, plus the tables will be more compact.
