    Here are 3 more Jeremy real world observations reduced by Doniol formula using cos sin havsin tables and standard 10" slide rule. Results are quite good despite the limitations of the standard slide rule. This is because the cos sum and hav LHA are biased to the left side of the slide rule number scale giving close to 4 place results.

    I've now spent a few days with the Doniol formula and feel history has underutilized it :(  Better than Ageton when using the DR as an assumed position (easier rules and more accurate). Overall almost as fast as Weem's LOP & Pub 208 short tables with the benefit of shorter intercepts. There is the potential for a very compact set of tables to complement the Nautical Almanac rather than the current NASR tables.
