While looking through:
Practical tables for navigators and aviators, by Armistead Rust
1918 - 116 pages
I came upon his TABLE A--Log Secants and Cosecants. (One of several tables
used in a reducion method he describes.)
It is one page! Copy attached.
Combining this with the Sec/Cosec method (see for example, Precomp
Navigation, by Philip Van Horn Weems, 1969 - 18 pages), one has perhaps THE
shortest tabular method, ONE page!
