I've one typo and one brainfart to correct.
My 2025 Jun 3, 11:45 -0700. For 'not the best area for finding compass declination or magnetic variation' read 'not the best area for finding compass deviation and magnetic variation'.
My 2025 Jun 3, 14:59 -0700. In my estimation of possible accuracy I overlooked the effect of the convergence of the meridians at the locations used. If allowed for, the predicted accuracy in nm will be improved. DaveP
