With the tercentenary of the 1714 Longitude Act almost upon us, Royal Museums Greenwich is gearing up for a series of events that should interest NavListers.
Ships, Clocks & Stars: The Quest for Longitude
This major exhibition opens on Friday 11 July and will run until 4 January 2015. It will tour to the USA and Australia after that - more details to follow.
More information at http://www.rmg.co.uk/whats-on/events/ships-clocks-stars
There will also be many related exhibitions and events, details of which will appear on http://www.rmg.co.uk/whats-on/longitude
And in two weeks time we will be hosting a conference with a range of international speakers
