    Longitude by lunar altitudes

I have been trying to work through the procedure for calculating longitude explained by Dr. George Bennett in the Journal of The Institute of Navigation Vol.53, No.2, Summer 2006. Whilst I understand the concept I cannot replicate Dr.Bennett's Intercepts as shown in the example. I guess the assumed longitude has to be the exact value of Lo run up from star fix. I use USNO clone by Frank Reed to get Hc but try as I might I cannot replicate the Ishown. Does anyone know of a more detailed description of this worked example? I am probably making a silly error!

Thanks for any comments or advice

    Bob Jennings
