Paul,
A current alternative to the Celesticomp V that isn't a cell-phone app is the StarPilot-89 Navigation Calculator (https://starpath.com/catalog/accessories/1874.htm), which is a very complete package and well supported by the manufacturer; it will perform pretty much any conceivable celestial-navigation calculation and is pretty much the current state of the art. There are other similar products by other manufacturers (for example, Navastro's, which I use and like: https://www.nautic-way.com/en/470-astronomical-calculator), but they are somehat less complete than StarPilot, although still very usable in practice. In fact, I've just returned from a sailing trip during which I used my Navastro calculator daily, with excellent results. I don't have any connection with any of these sellers -- I just know of their products. Any of these may be a better choice than the Celesticomp V, which has been out of production for a long time and isn't supported any more.
I hope this helps,
Denis
