Peter, something similar may have happened to my copy of a book. Not
'The Complete On-Board Celestial Navigator', the thread where you made
the above comment, but the book about Sumner and Saint Hilaire.
I need help to find it. I've been looking hard for more than a week.
Would someone please describe the size and color of "Line of Position
Navigation: Sumner and Saint Hilaire: the Two Pillars of Modern
Celestial Navigation" especially the appearance of the spine. I have
looked many times in my Navigation, Surveying, History and Mathematics
shelves as well as the "in progress" areas and under the bed. I read
part of it in July, and it was misplaced before I finished.
The last book I misshelved so thoroughly took me over six months to
find.
