I believe the lunar distance tables at thenauticalalmanac.com are calculated for center of mass, not center of light. At 2025 March 1 0 h UT I calculate Venus lunar distance 18°15.74' center of mass vs. 18°15.45' center of light. The former value matches the table at the site. At that time Venus phase angle is 135° (slender crescent).
