The Purdue north golf course tops out about 700 ft, Old State Police Post about 690 or 700 ft. The lowest I see is 580 in your area. That drops off to 670 ft at the pond off the Lindberg Road apartments, and 650 ft at Hadley Lake (BTW, Wabash is 510, not 520 as I stated). Airport runs about 590 to 607 ft. Does not surprise me at all to see it drop off 80 feet or so in from your place in the 2.5 miles to the airport. That's not much considering a 200 ft drop in nominally 1 mile or less near the river 1 .5 mile from us. Looks like (ground level, not second story;-) you could be anything from 690 680 ft. on my map. The topo map (a 7.5 minute series is a tough tough read given the Wabash River valley topography, dirt mounds and bogs left behind by the glaciers.) Often tough to tell if it is moving up or down from the 700 ft contour.
