In my previous solution to your 'vertical lunars' case, I forgot to include the GMT computation. The attached pdf has it.
I was interested in your rules of thumb in finding such a case. After working this example, I think those rules look something like this:
- moon and sun simular Dec
- Zn's of both bodies same or near so (obvious, if they are to be on the same vertical circle)
- AP Lat of observer near Dec of the bodies
- AP Lon of observer near the GHA of one of the two bodies not not the same
Is this close? I have to try using them to find another case.
