No need to apologize. I appreciate you testing the code. I just wrote it in the last few days. I've been testing it a bit with my sextant, but there are big errors there. I just wrote the obvious skyfield stuff and looked at https://github.com/aendie/SFalmanac-Py3 for details. I'd like to test it more, especially since different code uses different models (VSOP87 vs. de421, etc).
In particular, it's odd to me that the same skyfield code running on your machine gives an answer that is 0.2 arcminutes different from mine.
One line of the output was “Geodetic 399 EARTH -> WGS84 latitude +38.0000 N longitude -122.0000 E elevation 6.0 m”.
I thought that the “longitude -122.0000 E” was ambiguous
That is ambigous ...
