Yeah- I get 2.3 miles. For masts to move .1 of Moon dia, all they have to do is move 34 feet, but that's do-able. There's a lot of attention to detail in the pic, so let's not sell it too short. There is a reddening of the lower limb, and the shadows look quite realistic to me, at least, mirroring the ripples. I commend the photoshopist for these features.
On same topic, Supermoon is definitely a teachable moment. All my photographer pals scurried to get the Moon juxtaposed on some Earth surface feature. My buddy in DC wanted to get it centered on the Washington Monument. I told him he had lots of chances each year to make the exact same pic, weather permitting. I think I'm now thought of as a buzzkill!
