It is a rare perfect condition for the Lunars in Indiana now:-) Absolutely clear sky, and 3 planets in the evening at a moderate distance: Venus and Jupiter on one side, Mars on another. If you are unsure about your IC, personal error etc., take lunars from both sides, then average the longitude obtained. Here is my results today: SNO-T, 6x Kepler scope, IC=-0'3 (checked at least 10 times with Sun and stars:-) GMT 00:30 Jupiter at 35d clockwise. Errors: -0'4,-0.2,0'1 Venus 23d clockwise. Errors: 0'1,-0.2,-0'6 Mars 77d counterclockwise. Errors: 0'0,0'3,-0'2 Jupiter again at GMT 01:15 (after reduction of the first 3 series:-) Errors: 0'1,0'0,0'1 Alex.
