This paper was published 32 years ago. Has it been validated in any fashion since then? Unfortunately, archeoastronomy is a field over-populated with papers attaching astronomical significance to chance alignments, alignments of low statistical significance, and alignments that are trivial to observe (and thus not significant unless we're modern urbanites with no familiarity with the sky). That's not to say that this paper is wrong. But where's the follow-up? What other researchers have assessed this?

PS: This paper and the suggested moon observations have no connection with lunars in any fashion! :)
