Yes, I agree that the augmentation was ignored. According to my quick check I think it moves the resulting time by 21 seconds, and the resulting longitude by 5 minutes of arc. I guess that was well inside their "comfort zone". Also a correction for second differences in the lunar table was ignored. I haven't checked possible impact on the result but think it probably is very small and could be ignored.
