Don’t know the difference. They have the mechanical averager drum sticking out from the bottom.

Are those MkIXBs or MkIXBMs Ken? I could do with a MkIXBM to complete my collection. Also, are they fresh cast Bs, or are they MkIXs or IXAs with the Stores Ref and Section No and Reference Nos Fudged out and restamped MkIXB?
Funnily enough, around 1970, shortly after I handed my MkIXBM back in, they were advertised in the back of Flight magazine for several months for £12 10s. I thought quite seriously about buying one, but £12 10s was a lot of money to a young chap in those days, so I decided not to. Ah well, I supose it falls into the same category as the vintage Rolls Royce a fellow student was selling for £100 around 1963. DaveP
