Frank Reed asked: what is 1°24'51"10"' decimalized? It's the most obscure way of expressing a very good approximation to the square root of 2 I've ever seen. (1.4142129 vs. 1.4142135). I suppose it's self-evident if you have a sexagesimal mind, but in any case a very elegant result. And done without scientific calculators!
