@Hanno: Yes, you did understand me correctly. Don't use a font too small, you might need to read it under imperfect lighting conditions. @all: What I aim for is an useable model. I don't need a historically correct copy. Therefore I would opt for the direct reading with a transparent cosine scale, because there are no alignment problems with a cursor or pointer.
