May I recommend a repeating circle of reflection instead? Which one of us wouldn't want one! ________________________________________ From: NavList@fer3.com [NavList@fer3.com] On Behalf Of frankreed@HistoricalAtlas.com [frankreed@HistoricalAtlas.com] Sent: Saturday, May 23, 2009 1:27 PM To: NavList@fer3.com Subject: [NavList 8401] Manufacture new Bygraves? GL you wrote: "The Bygrave fills the bill nicely." Maybe you should have a talk with a manufacturer (probably in some part of the world where labor is cheap). Why not make some? Even just in the cel nav enthusiast market, I bet you could sell a thousand of them if the price was right (under $50??). I like your "flat Bygrave" solution very much but it lacks that difficult-to-quantify tactile pleasure that comes from working with a real device. And of course, a "real" Bygrave is something that one can show on a shelf. It's a conversation piece, even if it's never used at sea. -FER "Confidentiality and Privilege Notice The information transmitted by this electronic mail (and any attachments) is being sent by or on behalf of Tactronics; it is intended for the exclusive use of the addressee named above and may constitute information that is privileged or confidential or otherwise legally exempt from disclosure.
