Hi Miles,
If you are looking for general instructions for using a plotting board here are some other sources I could recommend:
H.O.Pub.219, "Air Navigation" - Various printings from 1955 to 1967, my 1963 edition references the MK-6A.
"Air Navigation" 1943-45 Navy traing series, specifically Pt.3-Dead Reckoning and Lines of Position, Pt.4-Navigation Instruments, and Pt.5-Relative Movement. These reference the MK-3.
I've used these to teach myself on a MK-6A. With a bit of patience you can find reasonably priced copies on ebay, abebooks, etc.
