Talking of versines..
Reed's Astro Navigation Tables, published annually by Adlard Coles Nautical, contain a user friendly almanac for all bodies, together with tables of versines, log sines and cosines, all to 4 figure precision, with ABC tables for azimuth.
The advantage of these is that they can be used for time sights or intercept methods over all ranges of latitude and declination, with only one rule to remember (lat+or~dec).
The book is in A4 paperback format, which opens flat, with 68 pages in total.
One thing wrong with this publication is that it always features a picture of a fake "collectable" brass sextant on the cover.
