What would be the best way to modify Martelli's table V formula to generate local hour angle rather than hours minutes and seconds ?

For those interested, attached is my analasys of Martelli's tables from 1920. It is partly based on an article in (the British) Journal of Navigation in 1973 by Charles Cotter, but I hope it is more straight forward and easily read.
