Interesting -- I liked the take on Densa, I am a charter member. and for those interesed, Pub 229 all 6 volumes are available in pdf [see PS]. The nice thing about PDF's is they are scalable and searchable, which saves time thumbing or scrolling through pages. Hope I am providing help to those interested.
Right now I am perplexed as to why Vol 1 of pub 249 is updated in epoch years every 4 years or so. Is astronomical precession so frequent that epochs are revised so often these days?

[PS: I have deleted some risky advice. Note that pub.229 and many other navigation publications are US Government publications, which, by US law, are public domain --you don't need to hunt down some grey-market source. Anyone can download these files legitimately from the original source here (click on Menu Options: Select). There is no need to visit any other source to download these tables. --this PS by FER; the remainder of this post is from Rommel]
