As an excercise I applied the process described by Paul Hirose to "sin(Dec)Sin(Lat) + cos(Dec)Cos(Lat)cos(LHA)" = sin(Hc)
- generating test data in an excel worksheet and calculating intermediate increments, the results were in agreement those
directly from pub 229. Also, the "B2" factor produces dsd ranges and increments which agree with the actual "dsd blocks"
in the interpolation table. So thanks, my curiosity is now satisfied on this topic.
