Here I am, a few days ago, getting ready to host a private tutorial session of my workshop "Celestial Navigation in the Age of Sail". There are some secants in that one, but they're safely hidden from view! That fine sailing ship behind me, of course, is the whaleship Charle W. Morgan, under sail on a real whale hunt, over a century ago. This shot is from a movie that starred Clara Bow, who later was known as the "It Girl".
