You can also use the calculator in Windows 7 - view - scientific - basic - example: 6d 30.4 min - enter 6.3024 then click the INV key and the the DMS key will change to DEG, click on DEG - you will get 6.506667 - to go back to DMS click on the DMS key and you will get 6.3024 - if you play with it for a while it becomes easy
