We’ve got everything set up to view this during the
day out here. Atmospheric conditions couldn’t be much better (mild Santa
Anna) for viewing the whole transit. Crystal clear skies with no clouds for the
duration of the day. Set to start transiting around 1140 hrs zt (AP 34* N, 116*
45’ W). We on the west coast of the states will be able to view the
entire transit. I missed the one in ’03 so am looking forward to
witnessing this one.
