There was also loss of life on the British side at Mers el Kebir... And no anti-French feeling was expressed in the funeral ceremony. When one relative of a killed British sailor was asked about this, she replied: "Well, probably the French thought that this was their duty to resist". But maybe it is better to stick to the navigational topics in our discussion? Alex.
