Dave P., that thought about the "cut" angle occured to me as well. FWIW, I called Warren-Knight and asked about this. They still have these on their website -- special order only. The gentleman I spoke with, to his credit, told me he didn't really know why they made both versions either. Just that they always have, and will happily do a run of either or both if asked.
