    Yes. Your problem is certainly unique and even a proper, standard sextant adjustment tool would have very limited use with a frozen screw. These tools are not designed to produce much torque at all; the adjustment head should move with little effort. And that's why I think ordinary 3D printing will be the obvious solution --solution for actual adjustment purposes (distinct from your sticky problem)-- once someone gets around to making a few different examples for different types of sextants. ...It won't be me, by the way! ;)
