That would be interesting -- a permanant cemented in pier in my backyard. Gonna try to pitch that one to the wife :D
Go for it. It is better to ask forgiveness than permission.
But more practically, maybe a bit of stainless rod driven into the ground would serve almost as well. Three vertical rods whose ends are flush with the ground; then, when needed, a metal stand could attach to these ends. That's got to be better than tripod feet just floating on a few centimeters of dirt.
The GNSS monumentation guides talk about this sort of thing. The gold standard is bedrock known to be directly attached to a tectonic plate.
