In addition to the photo gallery I mentioned in the last message, there's a
nice series of photographs converted into an animated GIF here:
These photographs were taken by Don Parker in Coral Gables, Florida. To
picture how this would look through a sextant, Jupiter was about 0.6 arcminutes
across, so those dark bands on Jupiter were each about 0.1 arcminute
thick.

It's a shame it was raining here in Chicago at the time of the occultation.
Oh, and as I look out the window, it's raining here... AGAIN.
