Dear Frank,
You approach this as a scientist, while my goal was purely utilitarian: to find the time of occultation for my location, in the quickest and most labor effective way.
So I was glad to find Lafayette, IN (which is rarely included in the lists of principal US cities. It is true however that we have an airport. 30 years ago it was lively, then all commercial flights to/from it were cancelled in the aftermath of September 11 terror acts. And 2 years ago they re-introduced one flight per day (to Chicago).
