There was no way for me to know, without asking, what or how or when or why can a number be rounded up of down.
I'm still using Willam Buckley's sight reduction sheet as reference thus you see the "IE -.1" stuff. It's common, all over the web, to see references to IE in sight reduction sheets that people have made and the amount to be removed or added vs. IC and then a + or - minus amount. Old habits don't get changed quickly.
I've spent the past 6 hours re-reducing, by hand, previous Sun sights to see the effect of rounding a number. It's remarkable how fast rouding speeds up the entire process with the only difference of about 1nm for an intercept.
I'm satisfied. I get the results that are acceptably accurate.
