Airships and blimps are exceptionally steady. By the way, the most famous US blimps are becoming non-blimps. The Goodyear company still prefers to call them blimps, presumably to maintain the identification as a public relations tool, but they are switching to Zeppelin NT's, which are semi-rigid airships. Two have been built by Goodyear and Zeppelin in Akron. The second was completed just a few weeks ago. This is the same type of airship whose shadows we discussed a year and a half ago. Remember the Stella Artois airship flying over Greenwich? Just like the new Goodyear "blimps".
