More accurate version of Pub 249 Vol 1 - is it needed?

    Hello,

I am playing with Python script and eventually decied to generate marine equivalent of Pub 249 Vol 1. Namely, let's imagine one wants to make some sights and needs information about the best choice of stars to be used. The original Pub 249 Vol 1 might be not sufficient for this case as its accuracy is limited to 1° in both Hc and Zn. I used the original Pub 249 Vol 1 data and created its more accurate version: 0.1°. If I am right one can takes these tables, select appropriate stars and directly use information about theirs Hc and Zn. This way the amount of time needed to calculate it manually should be much smaller.

At this moment the whole 'book' that I called 'Marine NavigationSightPlaning Epoch2015' consists of about 650 pages. Maybe I will be able to squeeze it to half of it. Part of it is attached below.

    Yours sincerely,
    Rafal
