I'm guessing the topic has been covered before but I'm wondering how and where navigation has been expressed in music, art, movies and other fictional ways.
For various reasons including meeting some Cornish folk, and watching and reading Doc Martin and Poldark, I've become interested in Cornwall with its rich seafaring history.
From the Cornwall Folk music streaming radio station Wreckers Radio I've found two songs related to navigation although I'm sure there are many others.
Granite is the Hardest Stone by Steve Winchester is about the Scilly naval disaster of 1707, and Lost at Sea by the Smokin' Pilchards is partly about celestial navigation.
