I've had mixed feelings about ordering from C&P. First of all I've had the Horizon Ultra for over 30 years. It is magnificent bar none. However over this past summer, I wanted to order a spare Horizon mirror, some new screws and retaining springs. Forgetting the price, and the shipping cost Germany to the USA, I was a bit perplexed that I was requested to supply tem with several photos of the sextant along with my certificate and matching serial number on the instrument. In addition, they made it so that I had to purchase the bracket that holds the mirror in addition to getting the parts I wanted. I guess that it is sold as a complete unit. Well It turns out that in 1987, the instrument was sold to me with the wrong Horizon mirror.
