I received my copy of the 2023 Nautical Almanac a couple of weeks ago, and was also wondering if it would be of the same quality as usual. Fortunately, it is still the good old publication with bright orange thick cardboard covers, with about the same number of pages (by eyeball estimate). The price is now better than that of "commercial" editions, so it's likely to sell out. And the US GPO bookstore doesn't add taxes (those of us who live in the USA have already paid them to the IRS) or shipping to deliver to US adresses. A most appealing feature is that they pack books for shipment in stiff cardboard boxes, so that they are not damaged in transit, as it happens with most books shipped in flimsy paper envelopes by so many well known "commercial" US vendors.
