You're the second person I've heard from this week whose order was cancelled by the GPO (his money was returned promptly, by the way, so keep an eye out). It appears then that the second print run did not happen. Either that or someone realized that they were selling them below cost this year, which I think is quite possible. In any case, the commercial edition is fully licensed from His Majesty's Nautical Almanac Office, so that's a good option if you're concerned about data provenance.
There are also many alternatives that are high-quality but have less certain provenance. For example you can use data from the nautical almanac web app on my site which includes a number of display options (some selected at the link as given). I can assure you that my data comes from JPL etc., but who am I? Who is this Reed person anyway?!

PS: Since "the Science Guy" turned up behind former US V.P. Al Gore recently in the thread about globe "gores", I can't resist today adding an image of "the Science Guy" below me from over a decade ago when I was a guest on the StarTalk radio show (that was about five years before I was a guest on the StarTalk tv show).
